And if you haven’t at least visited the Art House’s website, to see what shows are on offer, then do it now.
You’ll see that with such a diverse line-up of entertainment on offer, there’s bound to be tickets on sale to a show that will get you in.
The Art House opened its doors in April, 2016, and it’s fair to say that it took a while for the venue to find its groove.
But it seems the big acts are now lining up for their chance to tread the boards at Wyong.
Last month, the 34-piece Sydney Symphony Orchestra played Mozart to a full house. Acts don’t get any bigger than that.
Opera Australia’s production of Madame Butterfly was performed at the theatre on Monday, to another full house.
There’s been a string of rock and pop bands perform at the venue. Last month 1927 relived its halcyon days of the 1980s at the venue.
And Ian Moss’s solo gig at The Art House, on Friday, September 7, has sold out.
Australian Dance Theatre has performed a couple of mesmerising shows at the venue in the past year, and the performance last month of the play Letters to Lindy – based on letters received by Lindy Chamberlain – was witnessed by a near-full house.
It was an extraordinary night at the theatre.
And speaking of true stories, Anh Do’s show, The Happiest Refuge, has also sold out. Again.
The painter, author and comic will perform at The Art House on September 15 and October 30, and both shows have sold out.
B2M, an Indigenous rhythm and blues band from the Tiwi Islands, in the Northern Territory, will play the venue on Saturday, September 8. And ABC Radio host Richard Fidler will talk about his Conversations program on September 22.
