HAVE you thought about what your life will look like after you retire?

Maybe you’re there already and want to get certain aspects of your life sorted?

Others who are slowing down just need a little inspiration to help them smell the roses.

So, whether your priority is to travel, improve your health and wellbeing, get your finances in order, or simply to explore your accommodation options, you can check it all out – and more – at two local expos this month.

The first 50+ Lifestyle Expo will be held at Toronto Diggers on Wednesday, August 15. The second expo will be held at Dora Creek Workers Club on Thursday, August 23.

Both will be staged from 10am to 2pm.

Some 25 businesses will have displays at each expo, offering expert advice on living life to the full from age 50.

“For those approaching or already over 50 years old and looking towards retirement, accommodation options are wide and varied,” a spokesperson for the expo said.

“They range from staying in the well-loved family home to moving into an ultra-modern over-55s village – and it is all on offer here in Lake Macquarie.”

Each expo will feature exhibitions from 25 local businesses and service providers in the areas of.-

  • activities and education;
  • finance, property and legal services;
  • funeral services;
  • health and wellness;
  • holistic living options;
  • independent living services and products; and
  • recreation, fitness and travel.
