Southlake Business Chamber and Community Alliance plans to stage the market on the third Sunday of every month.
SLBCCA president Fiona Hall said the leafy park would be the ideal venue for a family day out.
“The market will be similar to the monthly one at Toronto, plus we’re looking at having busking and an open-mic set up,” Ms Hall said.
The market has adopted the “Respect All” theme, an initiative of artist, humanitarian and SLBCCA committee member, Sharon Davson.
“There’ll be an emphasis on quality, fresh produce, the environment, and recycling,” she said.
Ms Hall said more than 20 stallholders were already on board, and more were welcome to apply.
Prospective stallholders are invited to go to southlakemac.com to view the regulations and conditions for stallholders.
Markets from 9am to 2pm.
