MORISSET Country Club’s Louise Mullard has been selected to represent Team Australia in a Ryder Cup-style event against an Australian Defence Forces team at National Golf Club, in Melbourne, starting on Sunday.

Mullard, 53, is one of 12 leading players (men and women) selected to represent Team Australia against the ADF team in fourball, foursomes and singles match play.
She’ll fly to Melbourne early Sunday morning.
Last November, Mullard, 53, enjoyed a 12-stroke win at the Australian Mid-Amateur Championship in South Australia.
A former professional player, Mullard carded rounds of 80-77-77 to win the 30-to-54 years event at a windswept Links Lady Bay Resort.
Her strong form has continued.
She won the Women’s Asquith Cup on Tuesday.
A former two-time Australian Girls Amateur Champion in the 1980s, Mullard played professionally for more than a decade on the European and Asian tours.
