Ingenia’s Jason Webb said the strong interest followed the surge in retirees who had already exited Sydney homes to downsize at Morisset to “free up their equity and maximise their lifestyle”. 

“We had a high level of interest recorded from all visitors, and our guests on the day were given priority access to tour the new stage and see how our community combines lifestyle and luxury,” Mr Webb said.

“Downsizers had snapped up more than 70 per cent of Stage 1, with the second stage launched at the weekend’s Open Day as the demand for over-55s housing and age-appropriate living requirements skyrockets.

“Our regional and coastal communities are benefitting greatly from Sydney’s peak property market, with the enquiry levels from Sydney couples increasing over the past few months.”
