Chris Archer leads Northern Power to big win over Kincumber and into the Central Coast cricket final

NORTHERN Power captain Chris Archer has produced a stunning man-of-the-match performance to lead his team into the Central Coast Cricket Association final this weekend.

Archer produced the goods with bat and ball as Northern Power accounted for minor premiers Kincumber by 88 runs in the semi-final at Sohier Park.

Archer claimed 5-42 with his left-arm orthadox spinners to help dismantle the title favourites for just 88.

The all-rounder, who bats right handed, then opened the batting and top-scored with 40 as Northern Power posted a first innings total of 176.

Kincumber then scored a frantic 94 from just 13 overs, in which Archer claimed 5-28. Northern Power faced just four balls in their second innings before stumps was called, with Archer finishing 6 not out from one strike.

Northern Power will take on The Entrance in the final at Sohier Park this weekend. The Power downed The Entrance in the final round.
