The super heavyweight title will feature Newcastle’s Des Bower against Grafton’s Ben Cotten and both will weigh in at about 110kg.
Tuff’n Up Boxing’s Peter Hallett said the big boppers would entertain.
“Both boxers are willing to throw punches to the last bell,” Hallett said.
“They have both been and waiting for shot at the title, and now is their chance.”
The 86kg title will see Budgewoi’s Tristan Maskell in action against Grafton’s Sam McKechie.
“Both boxers have big records and are looking at the pro ranks. This will be the first step.”
The third title fight on the card will see two rising stars of Newcastle, Jake Collins Doherty and Nathen Manton, clash in the 67kg division.
“These two have boxed before with Jake winning in a split decision,” Hallett said.
Tickets cost $35 at the door, and the boxing starts at 7.30pm. Phone 0414 292185 for details.
