WYONG Rugby League Club Group’s board has voted to sever ties with the Sydney Roosters at the end of the 2018 NSW Cup season. The Roos have been the Roosters’ feeder club since 2014. The board said withdrawing from the NRL reserve grade competition would enable the club to better service local rugby league and “junior sport in general”. Wyong hosts Newtown at Kanwal this Saturday from 4.30pm.
