The Power, who finished fourth, enter the match with winning momentum, having toppled third-placed The Entrance at Long Jetty in the final round match on Saturday.

Responding to the home team’s  first innings total of 129, the Power reached 8-130. Caine Barnes top-scored with 35.

On the first day’s play, Power seamers Dave Molan (3-27 off 20 overs) and Connor O’Beirne (3-18) combined with left-arm spinner Chris Archer (2-39 off 18 overs) to put the screws on The Entrance batsmen.

Only Ben Day (70) and Adam Taylor (37) reached double figures.

The Power has made a habit of winning low-scoring matches, and they were able to do it again, reaching the winning total with two wickets in hand.

The Power lost early wickets in the run chase before Barnes (35), Brendon Charlton (22) and James McCombie (25 not out) got the job done.

The Power will like their chances against Kincumber.

When the teams met at Erina Oval in Round 10, Kincumber limped across the line to win by just one wicket.

Northern Power scored 7-226 from their 45 overs, and had Kincumber 9-171 before some last-wicket heroics got the home team across the line.

In the other semi-final, second-placed Terrigal will take on The Entrance at Jubilee Park, Long Jetty.
