As part of the celebrations, on Saturday, April 14, organisers are appealing to locals to provide old photographs of the area.
“Throughout the day, historic Dora Creek photos will be shown on the hall’s data projector,” Chris Gavenlock said.
“We’d like to have more photos of Dora Creek and Eraring, and in particular the community hall, to screen on the day.”
Anyone with photos of interest is invited to contact Lyn Darlington on 4973 2696.
“The centenary celebrations will include free morning tea, a free jumping castle for the children, free shopping bags and other give-aways, and a free booklet documenting the 100-year history of Dora Creek School of Arts,” Ms Gavenlock said.
There will be a display of classic cars, music and a centenary cake. Locals can also order one of three kinds of centenary paver to be installed at the hall. The centenary will be held from 10am to 2pm.
