The fireys are now polishing their vintage 1927 Dennis fire truck to have it ready for the lolly run which will be held over the weekend of December 23 and 24.
Santa and the firefighters will stop at Rathmines shops at 10.30am on the Saturday.
On the Sunday, they plan to be at Wangi Point Lakeside Holiday Park at 1pm, and at the Wangi IGA supermarket at 2.30pm.
Santa has also made a special request for adults to closely supervise children around the truck.
“Just wave, and we will stop,” Santa said.
Last year, Santa distributed almost 3000 lollies. Support from the local community and business houses has again made the event possible.
