Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, the Toronto RMYC and the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club have a combined entry in the race.

The Sydney-Hobart race entry list has been revealed for the 2017 iteration of the famous coastal race, and includes She’s the Culprit, an Inglis-Jones 39 that will be in the race for the fourth time.

In a local spin the entry is being sponsored by three of the Hunter’s clubs – Lake Macquarie Yacht Club, the Toronto RMYC and the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club.

Sibby Ilzhofer’s Dare Devil is also set to prove she’s third time lucky, after two initial failed attempts, and the third entry is an Atkins-designed timber 37-footer, known as Newcastle’s 70-year-old grand lady.

The old lady, Richard Less’ Freyja, will be ran by an eight man crew and is set to be led by Andrew Miller in their bid for Sydney-Hobart glory.
