The new mega-council, formed by the amalgamation of the former Wyong and Gosford local government bodies, will be one of the biggest in the state.
It comprises five wards, each of which provides three councillors.
Labor had candidates elected in each of the wards, with two elected in Budgewoi (Doug Vincent and Jillian Hogan).
One Independent candidate candidate was elected in each of the five wards.
A Liberal candidate was elected to four of the five wards, with Budgewoi the only ward in which the party failed to get a candidate across the line.
In the Budgewoi ward, which includes the northern suburbs of the former Wyong Shire Council, the three elected councillors are Doug Vincent (Labor), Jillian Hogan (Labor) and Greg Best (Ind).
Former Wyong Shire mayor Doug Eaton contested the Wyong ward but was not elected.
