KEN Warby – the man who set and still holds the world water speed record of 511.1km/h in a boat he designed, built, financed and piloted himself in 1978 – will be the special guest when Royal Motor Yacht Club, Toronto, hosts its season opening day this Sunday, September 17. Warby will have his record-breaking boat, Spirit of Australia, at the club from about 1pm, and will speak about his new world record plans from about 2pm. Phone 4959 2051.
