For 20 teams who played 17 hard-fought games of netball across the season, everything came down to this last hour of netball.
Hours of drills, fitness and skill development were put to the test as teams took to the courts, primed and ready for four gruelling quarters of fast action.
Quarter by quarter the scores remained tight for many games, with one game going into overtime to determine a winner.
Division One champions of 2016, Doodlebugs, made it back-to-back titles with a 73-29 grand final win over T&Bs.
With 12 wins and three forfeits is season 2017, the Doodlebugs were a force to be reckoned with.
The second-seeded T&Bs were formidable opponents, but the skill and experience of the Doodlebugs - a team boasting multiple open representative players – could not be stopped.
In the Junior 4 division, the Wangi Arcadia Swifts made huge improvements across two seasons to win on Saturday. Two years ago, the Swifts lost every game, and in 2016 they won just two games.
To win a grand final is something for the girls to take immense pride in.
