It was a dominant return for Smith who had missed the minor premiers’ 40-12 win over the fourth-placed Cobras in a spiteful Round 17 fixture at Dora Creek.
Winger Blake Dinham and second-rower Dean Ferris also scored for Dora Creek in the win at Lakeside Oval on Saturday.
The win sends Dora Creek through to the first grand-final qualifier at Lakeside Oval on Saturday, September 9.
The Swampies opponents will be determined this Saturday.
In the other second qualifying final, third-placed Shortland downed second-placed Fingal Bay 24-10.
It means Shortland will contest the second grand-final qualifier on September 9.
The Dora Creek Ladies Tag team was defeated 50-nil by Newcastle University in their qualifying final. Dora Creek will take on Raymond Terrace this Saturday.
