Charlie was dynamic with the ball at both ends of the park at Neville Thompson Oval.
His charges in the attacking zone demanded attention from several defenders on every carry, while his barnstorming runs and off-loads from the Dora Creek quarter helped the home team to march out of trouble.
Dora Creek captain-coach Brad Clark said Charlie, centre Blake Moroney and winger Sam Agalidis were impressive.
“They really stood up when we were under pressure,” Clark said.
Dora Creek scored seven tries to four, but could land just one conversion, which kept Mallabula in the contest.
The Swampies have a bye this Saturday, and their last home game of the season will be against Cardiff, on Saturday, August 12. The Swampies lead the A Grade ladder by three points.
