WANGI Wangi residents have welcomed Lake Macquarie City Council’s positive response to their requests for footpath connections to be installed in the area, including near Hotel Wangi. Several small connecting lengths are expected to be completed over the coming weeks. They will include 7m of path on the eastern side of Watkins Road, near Dobell Drive, and 23m of path on the northern side of French Road near Watkins Road, the council said.
