Lake Macquarie defeats Rosebud 2-1 to retain share of lead on Northern NSW Premier League ladder

LAKE Macquarie Roosters have bounced back from a 4-nil trouncing by competition leaders Lambton Jaffas to defeat Rosebud 2-1 at Adamstown on Sunday. After six rounds of the Northern NSW National Premier League, Lake Macquarie continue to be the surprise packets of the season. They share top spot on the competition ladder with Jaffas, having scored just two fewer goals than the leaders. On Sunday, the Roosters fought back from a 1-nil deficit to win. The Roosters have the bye this weekend.
