Woman, 66, rescued after falling on rock ledge and breaking her leg at Norah Head on Sunday, April 2

A WOMAN, 66, was rescued after falling on rocks at Norah Head on Sunday. About 6pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and emergency service were called to Norah Head following reports the woman had slipped on a rock shelf and suffered a suspected broken leg. The Volunteer Rescue Association, ambulance paramedics, and police assisted in carrying the woman to the helicopter. She was flown to John Hunter Hospital and reported to be in a stable condition.
