Since 2010, the school has hosted its Rathmines Rascals, essentially a playgroup-style program in which children accompany their parent around the school while enjoying a range of school activities.
Children enrolling in the school next year now also have the opportunity to participate in Catalina Kids, a slightly more formal and school-based program.
Principal Nick Walker said the new program would run every Friday morning in Term 3, starting on July 22.
“Parents will be invited to bring their children to the school at 9am and collect them at 11.30am,” Mr Walker said.
“During this time the children will participate in sports activities with the current kindy class and will be involved in a wide range of learning experiences including science experiments, music and dance, craft and art, and activities using the interactive smartboards.”
