TWO colleagues at Coles Morisset have notched up 25 years of employment with the company.
Meat manager Jason Smith and customer service manager Amanda Horadam marked their milestones this week.
Mr Smith was 18 when he started his career as a butcher with Coles.
He worked at Woy Woy, The Entrance, Ocean Shores and Lake Haven before joining the Morisset supermarket when it opened seven years ago.
"It's a good, stable job. I've got a young family, and Coles is a good company to work for," he said.
Ms Horadam began working at the former Bi-Lo supermarket in Morisset.
"I really enjoy working with the customers," she said. "I get to meet new people. You have a real connection with them as they go through the register. There's never a dull moment."
The pair celebrated with Morisset workmates over lunch.
Later this year, they will be guests of honour - along with other long-serving Coles employees from NSW - at a lunch hosted by Coles management in Sydney.
