"Being a part of the 2013 Windsor International Children's Games meant I was able to experience the importance of this event and witness some of the achievements our young athletes from Team Lake Macquarie made on an international level.
"I am looking forward to bringing the International Children's Games to our shores next year so the world can experience all that Lake Macquarie has to offer, to see how wonderful our city truly is."
