And the stunning black and white pencil rendition entitled What's Next Boss? won the prestigious first prize award at this year's nationwide Caster Acquisitive Art Competition.
The win was a happy tale for artist Helene Ruma of Fishing Point.
She won $2000 and the prize also included the association's acquisition of the artwork.
Artworks from all the annual winners will eventually be exhibited in a proposed kelpie interpretive centre at Casterton to become a tourist attraction.
Helene has been a full-time artist since 2010 and has now chosen to specialise in animal studies.
She teaches local primary school students and donates her time as a committee member on Cooranbong's Art Lovers Movement. She also uses her talent for creating quick sketches of people's pets, on the spot, to raise funds for animal rescue groups.
