Lake Macquarie City Council will present a spectacular evening of fireworks, entertainment, delicious food and award-winning artists at Lake Mac Carols on Sunday, December 9.
Mayor Kay Fraser said Lake Mac Carols was one of the city’s biggest events of the year.
“Christmas is a wonderful time of year where family and friends come together in celebration, and there is no better event to get together with your loved ones to revel in the spirit of Christmas than Lake Mac Carols at Speers Point Park,” Cr Fraser said.
Come down early to catch the family Christmas movie, Christmas All Over Again, on the big screen from noon, with free kids' activities and live musical entertainment happening throughout the day.
The event will also feature a festive food truck alley, with tasty treats from a variety of local food trucks from noon until 9pm.
Enjoy lunch or dinner lakeside, with delicious food from 22 food trucks and dessert stations, including Newy Burger Co, El Poco Loco, Harrys Schnitzel Joint, The Crafty Pit, Mr Goaty Gelato and Transient Tea and Coffee Co.
There will be live local entertainment throughout the day, before the carols kick off at 6.30pm.
