At around 8.30pm on Sunday evening the emergency location beacon was activated.
It’s reported the two were hit by torrential rain and storms.
Around 9.50am Monday an ambulance paramedic was winched into the location where both men were found uninjured.
A 48-year-old man was the first to be winched out and after a refuel of the helicopter, the second man aged 46, was winched out.

A search is under way for two bushwalkers in the Barrington Tops National Park after an emergency beacon was activated on Sunday night.
About 6.40pm a personal locator beacon (EPIRB) was activated in northwest of Dungog. It is believed two men, aged 48 and 46, set off the alert after heading into the forest for a canyoning and abseiling trip.
A vehicle belonging to the men was located on Williams Top Road near Lagoon Pinch Road.
Police from Port Stephens/Hunter Police District, as well as personnel from AUSSAR and the Westpac Rescue helicopter have commenced a search on Monday morning.

Due to the wet and stormy weather in the area on Sunday night, a search party and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was unable to launch until Monday.
A further six emergency service personnel started off on foot early on Monday to trackdown the bushwalkers.
A command post was established at the Williams Top Picnic Area on Williams Top Road, at Upper Allyn.
