Questions about downsizing the family home, navigating residential village contracts, and staying healthy into older age will be addressed.

It’s part of the Discovery Series of talks being presented by Lendlease Retirement around NSW.

Carlton will speak at a free event at Lakeside Retirement Village, at 157 Marconi Road, at 10am on Saturday, December 2.

“Anyone who has ever made the move into retirement can tell you there comes a time when the looming excitement gives way to a steady stream of sometimes difficult questions,” general manager of Lendlease’s NSW Retirement Living business, Ann Holzer, said.

To help conquer what can be a challenging time, Lendlease Retirement has brought back its Discovery Series for 2017, she said.

“The Discovery Series offers people in retirement the chance to seek answers and inspiration from sometimes complex questions from people who are Australia’s experts in this field,” Ms Holzer said.

“It’s also a nice opportunity to meet other like-minded people at a similar life stage and get a free tour of the village.”
