Last week one of the circus’s giant inflatable clowns – individually worth more than $3,000 – was stolen in Hamlyn Terrace before being found two days later floating in the middle of the street.
In recent weeks, more than 40 circus signs had graffiti written across them.
Circus tour manager Maryann Shulz revealed that more than double that number of corflute signs had been damaged this week alone.
The Great Moscow Circus will open in the grounds of The Dam Hotel from Thursday, November 23. Visit www.thegreatmoscowcircus.com.au for more information and to view upcoming performance times.
