ROADS and Maritime Services is proceeding with plans to reduce the speed limit on Marconi Road, Morisset, from 70kmh to 60kmh. “The speed limit will be changed. New speed zone signs are expected to be installed by the end of the year,” the RMS said on Tuesday. There had been speculation in the community that the decision was to be overturned following representations from MP Greg Piper who said he was not convinced the change was warranted.
