Mr MacDonald said Mr Noble had established a platform from which the newly elected councillors could deliver for the region.
“Mr Noble’s stewardship of the amalgamated Central Coast Council has placed the region in great stead for the future,” Mr MacDonald said.
“Mr Noble diligently oversaw the complex merger of the former Wyong and Gosford councils.”
He said the council had implemented some major projects with the support of state government funding.
These included.-
- Disability Matters - Improved accessibility to natural spaces across the Coast, $800,000;
- Community Facilities - Access and inclusion upgrades to community facilities across the Coast, $580,000;
- San Remo BMX facility - New amenities, $640,000;
- Peninsula Leisure Centre, Woy Woy - Starting blocks and electronic timing system, $135,000;

“The council is now in a strong financial position to serve its community.
“Central Coast ratepayers have had their rates protected against future increases for four years (aside from rate capping increases).”
The Central Coast local government area (LGA) now encompasses 327,736 people across an area of 1,681 square kilometres, and is the third largest council in NSW.
