Mr Seccombe wrote From the Suburbs to the Trenches, the story of two Australian soldiers of the Great War.

The group will meet at Marmong Point Community Hall, in George Street, on Saturday, October 21, from 10am to 4pm.     

“Resources are available for your own research, and visitors and new members are welcome,” the group’s publicity officer, Lyn Hutchings, said.

“And there are experienced researchers available to assist you from 10am.”

Mr Seccombe will speak at 2pm.
