A MAN has been charged over the alleged theft of a handbag from a 90-year-old woman at Toronto Town Square on Sunday. About 2.50pm, the woman left a supermarket and was walking towards her vehicle in Brighton Avenue. A man, 23, was riding a pushbike behind the woman when he allegedly reached out and grabbed her handbag and rode away. The woman wasn’t hurt. About 10.30pm, police arrested and charged a man at Blackalls Park. He was refused bail.
