Council committee considers rescinding policy on deadlines for responding to correspondence

LAKE Macquarie City Council’s Repol Committee on Monday discussed rescinding the Response Times for Written Correspondence Policy because “council has a more contemporary framework in place with its adopted Customer Charter”. The policy currently includes a response deadline of 28 days for general correspondence and complaints by letter or fax.
