Writer and critic, Conor McCarthy, will host a panel of writers - Barry Maitland, Wendy James, and Rosemarie Milsom - as they discuss Sylvia Plath’s The Bell Jar and Their Brilliant Careers by Hunter-based author, Ryan O’Neill.
The forum will bring to life themes explored in the exhibition Book Club, currently on display at the gallery, in Booragul.
Book Club is curated by Meryl Ryan and explores the thought-provoking power of books through several contemporary works.
The free Book Club forum will be held from 2pm to 4.30pm. After the panel, Wendy James and Barry Maitland will read from their most recent titles.
