The driver, an 83-year-old man, from Wangi Wangi, sustained minor injuries and his female passenger was not hurt in the crash. Their vehicle was extensively damaged.
The third horse continued running on Wangi Road until it was struck by a second vehicle, driven by a 38-year-old Arcadia Vale man. After being hit, the horse ran into nearby bush. It was later found and treated for its injuries.
