The NSW Country Gymnastics Championships will be staged in Lake Macquarie for the second year in a row.
Gymnastics NSW chief executive officer Aaron Bloomfield said the centre would make a premium trampoline gymnastics facility for the Hunter region, with a proposed purpose-built venue in discussion.
“As a central hub for trampoline gymnastics, the Hunter region will attract the top athletes in our country, as well as providing opportunity for state, national and international competitions and tourism,” Bloomfield said.
Leading the charge will be Blackert Gymnastics Academy, who returned with a swag of medals from the national titles in May.
There are tickets for one, two, three or five days. Prices start at $18 for adults for a one-day ticket. Visit gymnsw.org.au for ticketing and program details.
