Would you know how to give them the appropriate CPR for their age?
You can learn these life-saving techniques when Lake Macquarie City beach lifeguards host free instructional sessions at Morisset and Toronto libraries next month.
The lifeguards will teach parents the latest CPR techniques and basic first aid for children and babies.
There will be a session at Toronto Library, on Wednesday, July 19, at 10.30am; and at Morriset Library on Monday, July 31, at 10am.
The sessions are free, but participants are asked to register online.
The sessions are part of the council’s You’re Kidding Me program of activities.
To register for a session, visit the council website lakemac.com.au and type ‘You’re Kidding Me’ in the search window.
