Westlakes District Netball Association’s under-21 representative players Tiana Baldock and Jazlyn Evans have successfully trialled for entry into the Central Coast Heart team which competes in the Metro League, one of the premier netball competitions in NSW.

Sixty teams contest the 2017 Dooleys Metro League, and are divided into six divisions of 10 teams.
The competition will be held across three nights each week, with teams contesting 18 rounds plus finals.
The Heart has teams in both division 3 and 4 and Jazlyn and Tiana play weekly against teams from Baulkham Hills, Blacktown City, Eastwood/Ryde, Hills District, Hunter United, Inner Western, Liverpool, Northern Suburbs and St George.
Currently the Heart are third on the ladder behind Inner Western and Hunter after 6 rounds.
The Metro League is a stepping stone to professional netball with a number of Metro League players rising to play for teams such as the NSW Swifts and even the Australian Diamonds.
