Council’s sustainability manager Alice Howe said the Living Smart Festival was one of the city’s biggest events.
More than 20,000 people attended last year’s festival.
“The Living Smart Festival helps to increases awareness of sustainability issues and trends through music, demonstrations, hands-on activities, fashion and food,” Dr Howe said.
“This year’s event will feature low-waste cooking demonstrations, an outdoor yoga session, sustainable fashion, free kids’ activities, markets, the popular native plant giveaway and more.”
If you are a market stallholder, community or sporting group, or food and drink vendor, and you take your sustainability responsibilities seriously, then you’re invited to add your stall to the event.
