The inaugural Blast from the Past Festival attracted 5000 people to Toronto last September, so organisers have decided to hold two events this year.

Lake Side Marketing and Events and Toronto Men’s Shed will stage the Blast from the Past: Rock and Roll Picnic in Toronto this Sunday, May 21. The Blast from the Past Festival will be held on Sunday, September 21.

The picnic will see Toronto turned into a celebration of all things 1960s and rock and roll. There will be stalls featuring vintage and retro products around Toronto Hotel which will again have a rock and roll band and dance floor. Vintage and classic cars will  be featured in a show and shine, and gourmet food and wine tasting will be held in Foreshore Park. Visit blastfromthepastpicnic.com.au
