Lake Macquarie City Council has placed its draft disability inclusion action plan 2017-21 on exhibition for 28 days. Mayor Kay Fraser said: “As a city that strives to be fair to all, we want to make it easier for people with disability to live in and visit Lake Macquarie.” She said the plan would direct council’s efforts over the next four years to becoming a more accessible and inclusive city that increases opportunity for people with disability and removes barriers to participation.
