Boolaroo Public School granted $30,000 for out of school hours care service

Boolaroo Public School’s application to the state government for a $30,000 funding boost to its out of school hours care service has been successful. Member for Lake Macquarie, Greg Piper, said services run by school parent groups, not-for-profit organisations, and commercial providers were eligible to apply for the grants. The government created the $20 million Before and After School Care Fund  to help deliver up to 45,000 additional OSHC places.
