Toronto was bowled out for just 85, and the visitors chased down the modest target for the loss of just one wicket.
Toronto captain Aaron Gray said it was a disappointing end to what had otherwise been another successful season for the club-championship winning Kookaburras.
“Unfortunately we left our worse game of the year for the grand final,” Gray said.
“We lost Chris Dickson to a broken finger at training on Thursday, and he has been our best bowler this year.

“But, our batsmen did not put us in a strong position by getting bowled out for 85.”
Gray said the start of the match was delayed due to a wet run-up at the northern end.
“We won the toss and batted on a wicket which was decent. But unfortunately, we lost wickets regularly to be all out for 85,” he said.
“Only Corey Brown offered any resistance with a very good 40.”
In first grade, Hamilton-Wickham defeated minor premiers Belmont to win the title. Belmont made just 72. Hamilton-Wickham reached 4-195 in reply.
