The Hunter Hurricanes hailed their harbour games at Queens Wharf on Saturday as an “overwhelming success” after an enthusiastic crowd cheered the men to a shootout victory over UTS Balmain Tigers.

The two sides were locked 6-6 at full-time before the Hurricanes won 11-10, their fourth victory of the National Water Polo League season.
They lost 9-6 to the Tigers in Lambton Pool on Sunday and sit eighth before a home double-header to finish the season this weekend.
The women’s team lost 12-4 then 7-6 to the Tigers and have two wins before also hosting the Jets in a double-header.
The men’s and women’s games on Saturday against Adelaide will again be in the harbour.
