It’s an amazing effort for a school of fewer than 50 pre-Kindy to year 6 students.
“The generosity of the school’s community has helped raised $8,000 for the Heart Foundation – money that has been put towards fighting heart disease – the single leading cause of death in Australia,” the Heart Foundation NSW chief executive, Kerry Doyle, said.
Since Jump Rope For Heart started in 1983, more than 95 per cent of all Australian schools, involving more than eight million school children, have participated in the fun and active program.
