It’s always a good sign for a tribute band when the artist they’re honouring is a fan of the band.
And that’s the case with Dirty Deeds who was selected by AC/DC’s record label to perform and represent the band at the official AC/DC Black Ice worldwide album launch party in Sydney, in October, 2008.
The boys were also invited to perform at the official launch party for the thumping Stern AC/DC pinball machine in 2012.
Most impressive of all, the band was selected to perform at The Brewery Hotel, at Sydney’s Olympic Park, in true AC/DC style on the back of a truck, to warm up the crowd prior to the real AC/DC performing their chart toppers across the road at ANZ Stadium, for the Rock Or Bust Tour, in November, 2015.
Dirty Deeds is big on professionalism and showmanship, and dedicated to recreating the authentic AC/DC sound.
The band has racked up a lengthy CV featuring performances at music festivals, major corporate events, and Australia Day shows, as well as a stack of pub and club gigs.
They recently performed in a ticketed concert in the Wyong Leagues Club auditorium, where AC/DC fans revelled in the electric atmosphere generated at the gig.
Dirty Deeds will perform in the auditorium at Morisset Country Club on Saturday, March 18.
Doors open at 8.30pm for a 9pm start.
Tickets are on sale at the club now, and cost $10 for members, and $15 for non-members.
The band Secret Society will perform a free gig upstairs in the club after the Dirty Deeds show, from 10.30pm until late.
