Bruce “The Boss” Springsteen is back in the Hunter this Saturday, E Street Band in tow. And although the event sold out on the first day, there are still a few packages, and thus tickets, available for those willing to pay a premium price.

“Springsteen has played here before,” Michael Hope, founder of Hope Estate said.
“We had 33,000 people through the doors over two nights in 2014. His shows are absolutely brilliant, one of my favourites.”
This year fans have had to be more competitive, Springsteen is playing Hope Estate for one night only.
“It’ll be a full house, 19,000 people,” Mr Hope said.
“To put that in perspective, there’re 14,400 people who came last time but won’t get to this time.”
But Mr Hope said the venue itself was still holding a few package tickets for those willing to spend between $499 and $949 to catch the Boss, with plenty of perks.
Hope is no stranger to massive names, the Rolling Stones, Elton John, The Eagles and James Taylor have all graced the stage in recent years. But Mr Hope said Springsteen always generated some of the most frenetic support from the crowd.
“Last time he played I stood right down the front and got goosebumps when he played Born in the USA,” Mr Hope said.
It probably helps that Springsteen is still bringing a level of intensity and stamina most musicians half his age struggle to summon. At the most recent show in Melbourne’s Hanging Rock, he kept the crowd going for almost three hours.
“At this point no one would have begrudged the ageing rocker a cup of tea and a good lie down,” Fairfax Media’s Jason Walls said.
“But the sprightly 67-year-old launched into what would eventually become an almost three-hour set of joyous, full-throttle rock and roll, complete with a tandem "ass shaking" in which "little Stevie" Van Zandt more than held his own.”
Springsteen will play Hope Estate on Saturday with Jet and Diesel supporting. Phone Hope Estate on 4993 3555.
