That includes not jumping out onto a pedestrian crossing without making sure it's safe to do so.
That’s exactly what happened to me recently at Speers Point near the swimming pool.
A middle-aged man walked straight out onto the crossing even through he could see a line of cars coming from both directions.
It almost caused a multi-car pile-up.
A little consideration goes a long way.
