TO mark the first day of summer, Minister for Health and Sport Sussan Ley and swimming coach Laurie Lawrence urged families and teachers involved with young children to make use of free water safety education resource packs which will be distributed to more than 50,000 pre-schools, early learning centres, and play groups across Australia over the coming weeks. The resource packs are part of the Kids Alive Do the Five program developed by Mr Lawrence. The program will receive $1 million from the federal government this financial year.
