Norah Head Sports Ground, in Bungary Road, is the venue this week for the State Firefighter Championships. The event showcases the skills a modern firefighter uses every day, be it attacking a fire or responding to a major emergency. Wyong Brigade is hosting the event and hoping to secure the coveted Alfred Webb Cup. The competition starts on Thursday, October 27, and continues on Friday and Saturday, from 8am to 5pm each day.
